Why Check 301-Redirects?
A site migration is only finished when every important old URL still lands somewhere useful. If a redirect is missing, mistyped, or pointing at a 404, you lose traffic, rankings, and leads — often without noticing until Search Console lights up weeks later.
This free checker requests the live URL and returns its HTTP status code so you can confirm redirects are actually working after launch (or before you flip DNS).

Check a Single URL
Use Single Page when you want a quick sanity check — a sticky old blog post, a printed QR path, or a redirect you just edited in Webflow / .htaccess.
- Paste the full URL (including https).
- Submit and wait for the status code.
- Anything in the 2xx / 3xx range is generally fine. 4xx and 5xx need attention before you call the migration done.
Bulk Check With CSV
Use CSV Sitemap when you have a Rapid301 export or another CSV of routes you want to verify in one pass.
- If the CSV already has full
https://URLs, upload it and submit — the Site URL field is optional. - If the CSV only has paths like

Reading Status Codes
- 200 — page loads (no redirect, or the destination is healthy).
- 301 / 302 — redirect is in place (follow-up check the destination).
- 404 / 410 — broken or removed — map a better target.
- 5xx — server error — fix hosting / app issues first.
For migrations, the ideal outcome is that old paths return a permanent redirect (301) to a relevant live page that itself returns 200.
Fix Broken Redirects Fast
When the checker flags failures, update the matching rows in your Rapid301 project review table (or your CMS redirect UI), re-export, and re-check. Catching issues in the first 72 hours after launch is far cheaper than recovering rankings later.
